✅ Local Device Data — You are in full control
All personal information you enter (reporter name, address, phone number) and all audio recordings are stored only on your device. This data is never transmitted to our servers.
To permanently delete all local data, simply uninstall the safesoundr app from your device.
ℹ️ Anonymous Cloud Data — Not personally identifiable
safesoundr contributes anonymous noise observation data to a shared environmental mapping database. This data consists solely of:
- A randomly generated anonymous ID (UUID) — not linked to you
- Noise incident coordinates (latitude & longitude)
- Date, time, and noise category
- Disturbance severity score
Because this data contains
no name, email, phone number, or any personally identifiable information, it does not constitute personal data under GDPR or equivalent legislation and individual deletion requests cannot be fulfilled for this data.
